The COVID-19 Preparedness page for Mental Health Supports has information and contacts for:

  • UHN Cares Counselling and Support Services
  • Resources you can use on your own for: 
    • managing stress
    • coping with loneliness, sadness and grief
    • staying calm, dealing with anxiety and trauma
    • family and financial concerns
    • coping with anger and irritability
    • using mindfulness

How to be more mindful

Be Mindful: Gain Awareness for Self-Care 

This e-learning module will help you find balance in these challenging times. You will learn what it means to be mindful; explore how and when to shift the way you think; plan what you can do to be mindful; and learn how to exercise to be mindful. A collaboration of the Cancer Education, Cancer Rehabilitation and Survivorship and Wellness@UHN teams.  

There are three ways to access this module: 

  1.  If you are on a UHN Network computer, visit the wellness access page
  2.  Using Google Chrome, go to PM Cancer Campus
    • You will need to login or create an account
      • If you have a UHN email, click "Use my UHN account" to log-in, if you do not have a UHN email, create an account
    • Once you are logged in, the Be Mindful course will open
