Overview

The Kathleen Meager Health Sciences Library is a valuable resource in supporting your research and professional development. Your Information Specialist is available onsite Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. At all other times, please contact library@providence.on.ca. The Kathleen Meagher Health Sciences library is available to support you in accessing scholarly healthcare information, literature searches, systematic reviews, citation management, interlibrary loans, workshops, and publishing research. Our services are available to any affiliated staff undertaking projects that are related to a Providence Healthcare initiative. The Kathleen Meagher Health Sciences Library offers specialized 1-on-1 training and custom workshops on topics that are related to health and information sciences. If you would like to request a training session or a custom workshop with an Information Specialist please submit your request by emailing library@providence.on.ca

Managing References

Once you have completed your literature search, you will have to manage all of the resulting citations and abstracts! There are a variety of citation management programs available, and which one you choose will depend on your own needs and preferences. We recommend the following free citation managers:
