How to find apps in the App Store
- Tap the App Store on your Home Screen
- Search for the app that you want to download
- Tap the magnifying glass on the bottom right of your screen
- Type in the name of the app you want to search for into the search bar
How to download apps from the App Store
Once you have found the app you want, it is time to download and install it on your mobile device.
To download an app from the App Store, you need an Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access Apple services. If you use other Apple services like iCloud, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID. If you don't have an Apple ID, you can create one.
Follow the steps below to download apps from the App store:
- Tap the app you wish to download.
- Tap the word GET to start downloading it to your device.
- You might need to:
- sign in with your Apple ID or
- Place your finger on the Home button to activate Touch ID or
- double-click the side button for Face ID.
Once the app finishes downloading, it will appear on your Home screen.
