Individuals aged 50 and over as well as all those currently eligible who have already booked their appointment for the booster dose at an interval of six months (168 days) can re-book for an earlier date at the three-month interval through Ontario’s booking portal or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at t 1-833-943-3900.
Everyone who lives in Toronto can book booster vaccine at a City-run or hospital immunization clinic using the Province’s Registration System or by calling 1-833-943-3900 (TTY 1-866-797-0007). Vaccines are also available at pop-up clinics, pharmacies, and some family doctors.
Third or booster doses for eligible individuals, including 18+, and Pediatric Pfizer vaccines are now available at local pharmacies, at select locations.
Starting this month, flu shots will be available for the most vulnerable high-risk populations, including hospitalized individuals, hospital staff and residents and staff in long-term care homes, followed by those in retirement homes and other congregate settings.
COVID-19 vaccine boosters and additional vaccine doses are now authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for certain people.
