Online Resources for Patients and Families: How to Access E-Books

UHN staff, patients, families, caregivers and community members who live in Ontario  can now access our collection of e-books, e-audiobooks, and streaming videos with the new Instant Digital Card.

Instant Digital Cards are only available to people with Ontario cell phone number that can receive a text message.

To access e-books using Instant Digital Cards follow these easy steps:

For smart phones and tablets:

• Download and open the free Libby App 
• Find our Library - University Health Network
• Enter your cellphone number to receive the verification code
• Sign in using this campaign code : uhnsummer22

For computers/laptops:

• Go to uhnpatient.overdrive.com
• Enter your cell phone number to receive the verification code by text message
• Sign in using this campaign code: uhnsummer22
• Read/listen to e-books on the browser or download them to your device.
