The Health Council of Canada is a pan-Canadian body that monitors and reports on the progress being made to improve health care in Canada and identifies best practices and innovation. The council no longer operating.
Health Quality Ontario (HQO) is an independent government agency that: monitors and reports on access to publicly funded health services, health human resources in publicly funded health services, consumer and population health status, and health system outcomes; supports continuous quality improvement; and makes recommendations on clinical practice guidelines and protocols, and funding for health care services and medical devicesto health care organizations and the provincial government.

The IHI Open School offers online courses on Quality Improvement, content and resources, and a network of local Chapters that organize events and activities on campuses around the world.
