Description: Join Dr. Wiplove Lamba and Dr. Nitin Chopra as they discuss the creation, implementation and adoption the AMPI ECHO partnership between Unity Health and The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

Wiplove Lamba (He/Him)

Husband, Father, Clinician, Educator. Wip Lamba has spent the last 10 years developing expertise in medication treatments and psychotherapy for people who use drugs. The focus has been on people with concurrent disorders, pain conditions, personality disorders, and trauma.  In that time he has led over 50 invited and peer reviewed workshops at the local, provincial and national level.  He believes that working with people who use drugs can be a general medical skill, and he completed the Education Scholars program at the Centre for Faculty Development with the hope of spreading this philosophy in a strategic, academic, and scholarly way.

Nitin Chopra (He/Him)

Nitin Chopra is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and an Addiction Psychiatrist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. He works primarily with patients struggling with concurrent mental illness and substance use disorders.
