Print and electronic books can be found by using either the search engine UHN OneSearch or the library's catalogue.
UHN OneSearch
UHN OneSearch is a search engine that allows you to search across the library's entire collection of resources. In order to find print or electronic books, type your query into the search box above. When you click search and go to the search results page, you can use the left side bar to limit your results to limit your the content type book/ebook.
Online Catalogue
The library's catalogue contains records for all the print and electronic books in the library's collection. Use the default basic search box to type in your query or use the advanced search option to search and combine specific fields such as title, author, or subject.
If you can't find the specific book you're looking for, UHN Libraries can obtain the book as an interlibrary loan from another library system. Please note, there is a service fee to retrieve books from other institutions. In order to request a book, fill out and submit this book request form.
