Can I get access to the computer lab or library after hours? After hours (6pm to 8am and weekends), the computer lab and library are accessible to staff and students with access to the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute building (209 Victoria St).

Do you have SPSS available on the library computers? SPSS can only be accessed using two of the computers labeled "SPSS." There is one computer along the south wall of the library (SMHPC17447) and another in the computer lab (SMHPC13658).

How do I register for a library workshop? Staff can register for workshops via the learning centre. For students and volunteers, please register by emailing hshibrary@unityhealth.to.
How long can I borrow library materials? Books can be borrowed for 4 weeks, journals for 2 weeks, and iPads for 1 week. Books and journals can be renewed once for each item by emailing hshibrary@unityhealth.to or calling 416-864-5059 (some exceptions may apply). Loan periods will vary for interlibrary loan requests.
