Overview

The Information Specialists at the Health Sciences library are available to support you in accessing scholarly healthcare information. Our services are available to any affiliated staff undertaking projects that are related to a St. Michael’s Hospital initiative. Literature Search Service

Use this option if:                                                             Steps to take: 
  • You are looking for a select number of relevant articles for various reasons, for example:                  
    • to find best evidence for clinical or patient  care, 
    • to find articles to support a presentation or  publication, 
    • to support education initiatives,
    • or any other project!                                        
1) Fill out this form and your request will be sent to the Information Specialist assigned to your department

Consultation Service

Use this option if:  Steps to take: 
  • You are looking for guidance about how to get started with literature searching
  • You would like assistance learning how to search  the literature yourself                                         
  • You have other questions you would like to speak to an information specialist one-on-one about
