Advocacy 

HSICT will, working along with its members and partners, endeavor to influence decision-making at the local, provincial, national, and international levels that help create desired visibility, impact policy or drive a funding change in support of health libraries and evidence based practice and education.

Local
Leadership and proactive partnering in assisting member libraries facing funding and other professional issues
Provincial

Effective partnering with other provincial associations (OHLA) and key groups within the hospitals with similar interests in EBP (i.e. Education, Research) to promote access to and train on quality health information and evidence.

National

Partner with National Library Organizations (e.g. CHLA) on policy issues affecting healthcare

International

Support International Library Organizations as it pertains to access to Health Information and evidence. (i.e. IFLA, EAHIL)
