Citrix Off-Site Access

RxTx Off-Site Access:

Please note that you must use Citrix through "FortiToken Mobile" to access RxTx remotely. You cannot remotely access this resource through SJNet.


Clinical Key Off-Site Access:

Please note that you cannot remotely access Clinical Key through SJNet or Citrix. To gain off-site access, you must create a personal account by visiting the Login Page on the Clinical Key website. After login, click on your profile and select the Remote Access option [see below]. You must entre your Unity Health email address to authenticate.  The verification code will be sent to you. By using the code, you will activate the remote access option. You are required to do this every time you are accessing Clinical Key. If you are experiencing access issues for Clinical Key, please contact the library by emailing: library@stjoestoronto.ca

St. Joseph's Off-Site Access:

To access the library's electronic resources (such as eBooks, databases, and journal articles) from home or off-site, you must authenticate yourself as a St. Joseph's Hospital staff, physician or student. To do so:

1. Using any internet browser navigate to https://stjoestoronto.ca/ and then click on the FOR STAFF link



2. You will be re-directed to the FOR STAFF page, from here click on the Citrix Remote Access link


3. Next, you will be prompted for a username and password, enter your St. Joseph's username and password (the same username and password used to access any Hospital computer). The Token Code can be obtained through the FortiToken mobile app. If you do not have this app you can request the download information from IT, for the app needs to be connected to the Unity Health Toronto network. After entering this information hit Log On.


4. Once you have entered our login information, you will be brought to the SJNet home page, and your internet browser will operate the same as a computer at the Health Centre

If you are using a public computer off-site, be sure to log off from the SJNet page when you completed your session to ensure the security and privacy of your account.
