Commissioner for Housing Equity (OCHE) - Eviction Prevention

For seniors (59 years or older) or a vulnerable tenants who has been given an eviction noticed for unpaid rent, call (416) 632-7999 from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm


Ontario Energy Board - Electricity Cost Subsidy

For low income families who need hep with electricity cost, call 1-855-831-8151


Toronto Rent Bank

For short-term help with rent and other housing costs, call (416) 397-7368

Help with childcare


Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD)

Monthly funding for low to moderate-income families to help cover the costs associated with caring for a child with special needs.


Child Care Free Subsidy

To help manage the costs of child care if you live in the City of Toronto. If you live outside of Toronto, access information here.


Disability Tax Credit (DTC)

Helps families reduce the amount of income tax they pay when caring for a child with special needs. Forms must be completed by a doctor.


Special Services at Home (SSAH)

Program provides support for respite care or personal development and growth activities like camps and swimming lessons. Open to everyone. Funding is based on need, other supports and services in your community and what supports you already receive.
