About the SALIS Collection

The SALIS Collection is a digital collection, hosted by the Internet Archive. It contains books and other materials such as government documents pertaining to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs selected by SALIS members. The purpose of the collection is to preserve publications of historical interest to the field. The collection was launched in  2015 and continues to grow.

About SALIS

SALIS (Substance Abuse Librarians and Information Specialists) is an “international association of individuals and organizations with special interests in the exchange and dissemination of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) information.” All of the materials found in the collection were contributed by special libraries. CAMH is a member of SALIS and several books from the CAMH Library Special Collections were digitized and contributed to the collection.
