It contains books and other materials such as government documents pertaining to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs selected by SALIS members. The purpose of the collection is to preserve publications of historical interest to the field. The collection was launched in 2015 and continues to grow.
SALIS (Substance Abuse Librarians and Information Specialists) is an “international association of individuals and organizations with special interests in the exchange and dissemination of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) information.” All of the materials found in the collection were contributed by special libraries.
