Course Description (50 Minutes):

This course is designed to convey the benefits of information visualization by explaining the best practices used when designing and creating infographics. Attendees will learn how to creatively visual information utilizing design elements and critically analyze infographics to improve the user’s experience. The Information Specialists will guide participants through the infographic software used by the library (Visme), and will offer a discussion on other existing infographic software.

• Identify best practices for infographics

• Learn how to critically evaluate infographics
• Understand the basic functionalities of Visme (an infographic software)
• Discuss other infographic software
