EndNote is an application designed to organize references for use in manuscripts, grants, CVs and other documents.  The software creates files that are essentially a record of your publications, database search results, or citations culled from your reading. Reviewing this guide prior to attending the course is recommended.

Course Objectives

  • Overview of EndNote
  • Create a database of references
  • Learn to add, edit and search for references
  • Import references from databases including PubMed and Medline
  • Create footnotes in a document linking text to references
  • Create a bibliography in a variety of styles

Prerequisite: N/A

Target Audience:  All staff and students.
