This half-course is an introduction to Access Medicine, a comprehensive resource that provides access to142 medical textbooks as well as a handful of quick references. Through Access Medicine, one can access information on conditions, procedures, clinical tests, drug monographs, and patient information via a single interface.
Course objectives:
By the end of this session you will be aware of Access Medicine’s key resources and be able to incorporate it into your clinical practice, or clinical education. Specifically: You will be able to access multimedia information on clinical procedures, medical conditions, and common therapeutics. You will also be familiar with clinical tools, and study information for medical or continuing education.
Prerequisite: None.
Target Audience: Clinicians of all levels, students.
